Women in Biotech Mentoring Programme
The BioIndustry Association runs a structured mentoring scheme for women working in the UK biotech sector. The programme is designed to support and inspire women at different stages of their careers.
Programme structure
The scheme runs for up to 12 months. The BIA conducts a detailed matching process and introduces selected pairs before the programme begins. Mentees commit to regular monthly meetings for at least six months.
Participation
Mentees must work for BIA member companies, while mentors can be nominated by both member and non-member companies. Mentors may be women or men.
