Matching and support programme by Røde Kors for children and young people aged 10-24 living in foster care, residential care or transitioning out of care.
Programme structure
BackUp matches the young person with a volunteer based on shared interests and preferences. The volunteer meets the young person at least twice per month, and the relationship is intended to be long-term.
Mentors
Volunteer adults aged 25 or over who are screened and prepared by the Danish Red Cross.

Children and young people aged 10-24 living in foster care, residential care or transitioning out of care.
