CEO Mentoring Programme
Charity People runs a UK-wide, pro bono mentoring programme for aspiring charity CEOs and people who have recently taken on their first charity CEO role. The programme is designed to strengthen the leadership pipeline in the charity sector and places particular emphasis on access for people from underrepresented groups.
Programme structure
Participants are carefully matched with experienced charity-sector leaders and work one-to-one over a structured series of mentoring sessions from March to August. The programme also includes an in-person closing event in London.
Focus
Mentoring supports leadership development, career planning, confidence, decision-making and reflection on the challenges of becoming or being a first-time CEO.
