MentorUp - Startup Mentoring Program
The MentorUp - Startup Mentoring Program is a free initiative designed to help startups in Germany amplify their impact, particularly those addressing significant global challenges.
The primary goal of MentorUp is to scale the impact of startups by connecting them with high-profile mentors. These mentors provide support on various crucial topics such as:
- Fundraising
- Legal matters
- Product development
- Marketing
The program is aimed at ambitious, early-stage startups that are focused on one of its four specific focus areas and are looking to maximize their impact.
Mentor Selection
Mentors are selected experts in their respective fields with experience ranging from bringing an idea to life to leading large teams in international corporations. Examples include:
- Judith Dada - Partner at La Famiglia VC, specializing in Funding and Business Strategy
- Markus Sudhoff - CEO & Founder of Climate Founders and Angel investor
- Salma Vogel - DACH Business Analytics Lead at Google, also a Founder & CEO of an AI Startup
Program Structure
The program involves mentoring sessions and additional events and runs for three months. Startups benefit from access to expert mentoring to maximize their impact, receiving support on critical areas like:
- Fundraising
- Legal
- Product development
- Marketing
A past mentee, Climate Connect, highlighted that the mentors were particularly well-matched to their needs and provided "precious advice" that they were excited to implement.
