Talentium Foundation Overview
The Talentium Foundation focuses on supporting talented students and connecting them with the professional sphere by organizing professional internships in the Czech Republic and abroad. A key element of these internships is the assignment of a mentor who guides and supports the student throughout the entire process. The Foundation aims not only to help students in their professional development but also to facilitate companies in finding suitable candidates and establishing professional relationships with the best students in their field of interest.
Characteristics and Program Conditions
Internship Structure with Mentoring
Internships are organized on a monthly or semi-annual basis, always according to individual agreement, and can also take the form of part-time employment or temporary work. Selected students are assigned a mentor from the relevant field, with whom they collaborate on preparation before and during the internship. Mentors are verified professionals who provide reliable services and have concrete references.
Mentee Target Group
The program is intended for university students in the Czech Republic who meet the following criteria:
- At least 18 years old
- Active knowledge of English or German
Participation in the selection process requires:
- Registration
- Submission of a CV in PDF format
- A motivational letter (in Czech, English, or German) emphasizing the field of study and area of interest
Role of Mentors
Mentors must propose a time schedule and plan for mentoring interns and can provide their services pro bono or for an agreed fee. Companies participating in the internship program select a specific person who will serve as a mentor to the intern or a staff member for "shadowing."
Funding and Partnerships
The Talentium Foundation is funded exclusively by private means and does not accept public budget subsidies or EU grants. It collaborates with verified commercial companies, organizations, and research institutes in the Czech Republic and abroad. Partner companies receive publicity and PR support.
