CTU Mentoring Program
The CTU Mentoring Program, operated by the CTU Career Center, offers students a unique opportunity to gain insight into the real environment of Czech and international companies. This program, now in its sixth year, aims to facilitate students' transition from academia to practice and help them with career growth even during their studies. According to CTU, this is an opportunity that students of no other university in the Czech Republic have.
How the Program Works and What It Offers
- Practical Experience: The student (mentee) visits their mentor's company, accompanies them in their daily work, and actively participates in real projects. This allows them to gain valuable practical experience directly from the field.
- Wide Range of Mentors: The offer includes mentors from medium and large companies as well as multinational corporations across all industries. The mentor does not necessarily have to be from the field the student is currently studying, which opens up opportunities to explore new areas.
- Mutual Benefit: While the mentee gains direct experience, advice, and contacts, the mentor gains a completely new perspective on their work and has the opportunity to contribute to the development of future talents.
Registration and Selection
Applications for the program take place annually in March. Students choose a mentor from the list whose experience is most interesting to them.

The CTU Career Center provides a clear summary of general information about mentoring and offers technical support through the CTU Helpdesk application.
The program is designed to provide students not only with professional knowledge but also with a broader perspective and contacts that are crucial for a successful career start.
