A list of questions useful for analyzing and dealing with limiting beliefs.
- What is holding you back?
- Are you not giving too much weight to this thought?
- Is this an unrealistic expectation?
- Why is this thought complete nonsense?
- Are you standing in your way? How are you doing with this?
- Where did this doubt come from?
- What does this doubt look like?
- Where did this belief come from?
- Who gave you this belief?
- How is this belief holding you back?
- What have you tried to overcome this belief?
- How much is this belief costing you?
- Does this belief have a positive impact?
- Are you not being too hard on yourself?
- Write down the reasons why you are being too hard on yourself.
- What are you avoiding?
- By avoiding it, how does it affect you? Your life? Your work?
- What is getting in your way?
- How much more effective would you be if you let go of a limiting belief?
- How much better would your life be if you let go of your limiting beliefs?
- Why do you think these thoughts get in the way?
- If you could name these thoughts, what would they be and why?
- What do you think these thoughts are protecting you from?
- What new thoughts and beliefs could replace the old ones?
- What beliefs would be better for you and why?
- What evidence do you have to support these new beliefs?
- What emotions do you prefer to avoid and why?
