Goal setting - comprehensive version

When to use:

  • At the beginning of the mentoring relationship
  • To contract a goal, goals for the process
  • When the Mentee needs support in setting goals for others

Props:

  • A4 sheet
  • Colored markers / highlighters
  • Virtual board, in case of remote work (e.g.: Miro, Mural)

Instructions:

Stage 1

Define the goal according to the following steps (It will be useful to fill in the table):

State your goal without denial.

State your goal positively.

Focus on your aspirations, not your limitations.
