The FFCE Model
When to use:
- The FFCE model helps give quick and concise feedback.
Materials needed:
- None are required.
Instructions:
- F: Facts
Provide the facts.
- F: Feelings
Describe your emotions related to the given situation (as a result of the facts).
- C: Consequences
Explain the consequences of this.
- E: Expectations
Express your expectations for the future for a similar situation.
The GOLD Model
When to use:
- The GOLD model helps give feedback when the actions of another person have not met expectations.
Materials needed:
- None are required.
Instructions:
G: Goal
- What was your goal?
- What did you intend to achieve?
- What was supposed to be the result?
O: Outcome
- What result did you achieve?
- What was the actual result?
- What went well?
- What didn't go well?
L: Learn
- What have you learned?
- What are your conclusions?
- What other possibilities do you see now?
D: Differently
- What will you do differently next time?
- What will you do more or less of?
- What will you take into consideration?
